Want to create your own event to raise money for CKNW Kids' Fund and the children we support? We can’t wait to see what you dream up! Fundraising events are a great way to bring your community together to fulfill the unique needs of kids living with challenges. Whether you host a sports tournament, a bake sale, a costume contest, or even just a party, proceeds from your event can be directly donated online.
Please let us know about your event so that we can provide the appropriate support and ensure our community is made aware of any event supporting our organization. We’d also love to receive photographs after your event is complete. You can contact us at cknwkidsfund@corusent.com.
While we appreciate your generosity, please note that your fundraising event is not associated with CKNW Kids' Fund and cannot contract any goods or services using our organization name.
Pledge Your Birthday
Make your special day count, and celebrate your birthday by pledging it to CKNW Kids' Fund. Ask your friends, family and coworkers to donate in lieu of gifts to help change a child’s life. You can prompt your loved ones to donate your age in dollars, or show them some of Our Stories to inspire them to pledge additional funds. You’ll feel great giving either way!
DONATE A CAR CANADA
We have partnered with Donate a Car Canada to accept vehicle donations for the CKNW Kids’ Fund.
Have a vehicle you no longer use? Donate it through Donate a Car Canada and have the proceeds benefit the CKNW Kids’ Fund. Free towing is provided in most areas across Canada, or you can drop off your vehicle to maximize your donation.
Depending on the age and condition of the car, truck, RV, boat or motorcycle you donate, it will be either recycled or sold at auction.
Donate a Car Canada will look after all the details and once the vehicle donation is complete you will receive a charitable tax receipt.
RETURN-IT EXPRESS
Every donation to the CKNW Kids’ Fund supports children with special needs in BC.
Our newest partnership with Return-It is a fast and simple way for anyone to donate the proceeds of their bottles and cans to the CKNW Kids’ Fund!
Follow these Easy Steps to donate the proceeds of your refundable beverage containers today:
1) Collect your empty bottles and cans in a sealed clear or transparent bag
2) Find your nearest Return-It Express location
3) Type in (604-222-9898) at the Express Kiosk
4) Attach the label to your bag of containers, you can print extra labels to use on your next bags
5) Put your bag in the designated bin
6) Your donation will automatically go to the CKNW Kids’ Fund!
